A workshop titled "Entrepreneurship Development Program " was conducted in the College on 06.08.05. Many of our faculty members including Senior Professors took part in the workshop. Mr. S.K. Sinha, Project Co-ordinator, SEDMS, NIT, Rourkela delivered the keynote. |

The institute also organizes nation-wide industrial visits to reputed organizations for broadening the horizon of knowledge. |

| PCE has one technical forum for each department that conducts Seminars, Quizes and Group-discussions so that the students can enhance their technical skill and knowledge, apart from usual academic progress. |

To commemorate the International Year of Physics -2005, Department of Physics organized a Wall Magazine Competition among 1st year B.Tech students of the College. A technical meeting of Staff and Students was held on this occasion where Prof. (Dr) S. Panigrahi, Professor and Head of the Department of Physics, National Institute of Technology, Rourkela presented a talk on "Einstein's Life and work". |

Since interchange of ideas and knowledge is very important for the academic growth of a College, this year stress was given to conduct Technical Seminars/ Workshops in the College so that delegates from the various institutions, R&D organization and industries get together and exchange their knowledge and experience. |

Under the above programme the first seminar was organized by the Department of Chemistry. A One day state level seminar was conducted on 2nd Sepetember,2006 on the topic " Research and Development of Chemistry in Academy and Industry". Dr. B.K. Panda , Director, Dalmia Institute of Science and Industrial Research , Rajgangpur, was the Chief Guest, who inaugurated the seminar and Prof Satyaban Jena, Professor of Chemistry, Utkal University was the Guest of Honour. A total of 20 papers under Six sub themes were received out of which 14 papers were presented by authors.A Souvenir containing all the papers was brought out on this occasion. |
